Art DeCamp Horn for NRA President John Sigler

This horn was commissioned by the National Rifle Association for presentation to the outgoing NRA President John Sigler, at the annual convention in Phoeniz, AZ in May of 2009. The horn is an early Philadelphia style horn. In keeping with longtime NRA horn tradition, it is decorated with sterling silver bands at the tip and butt ends. The butt is turned from cherry wood, with a formed and turned sterling disc incorporated with a piece of black horn that was pressed and turned. In addition, there is a sterling Submarine service emblem applied to the horn on the back. Other special engraved and polychromed features on the horn recount Mr. Sigler's career of service to his community and country.
