Maryellen Pratt Hunting Pouch with Tim Crosby Horn

With it's rustic appearance and authentic styling, this handmade bag and horn set would be the perfect companion to a mountain rifle. The 6 1/2" X 7" bag has been hand stitched by Maryellen and is made from a groundhog hide bark tanned by Charlie Brown. Patches of fur and the tail remain on the hide adding to the primitive feel. The strap is cut from deer hide and fitted with an iron buckle, and all the leather has a dark finish with the surface softened by rubbings of deer tallow. The paneled horn made by Tim Crosby has been distressed to match the bag and comes with it's own calf hide strap, also fitted with a small iron buckle. Finishing off the set is a patch knife, small antler powder measure and vent pick.
