Jack Haugh Remembered

Jack Haugh visited me here in Los Angeles in 1979. He and his wife Barb
Were wonderful guests, and it was a hoot to take him around Hollywood
And the beach etc...
I think it was his first long range trip and also his first on an airplane.
He was a tree surgeon by profession  before going full time as a gunsmith.
He went nuts when he saw palm trees which filled the parking lot
 at the airport.
It took us a half hour to get him to get into the car!!!
He was a very talented character.

His work remains as some of the finest expressions of
contemporary long and short guns.
